Came to life as an evolution of its predecessor the 330 America, the Ferrari 330 GT 2+2 was the American Dream. Serving performance and comfort it could travel many miles in speed, elegance, and style. The 2+2 characteristic was a triumph at the time, offering a seat to four to ride on the most luxurious and rapid automobile made the business men over excited. In fact, the 330 GT 2+2 was one of the first Ferrari’s to sell in excess of 1,000 units; with a total of 1,099 total examples built in two different series. Sculpted by the legendary Sergio Pininfarina the car was initially designed with four headlights, this model called the Ist series was manufactured from 1963 to 1965. Varying a few aestethic and mechanical feautres came the II series, produced from 1965 till 1967 before ending production; the car consisted of a new five-speed gearbox instead of the overdrive four-speed, a switch back to a dual-light instead of quad-light front, alloy wheels, and the addition of optional air conditioning and power steering. A sum of 455 Series II 330 GT 2+2 have been built out of the 1,099 units, making the second series slightly more exceptional and perhaps more alluring. All the 330 models fitted an evolution of the 400 Superamerica's 4.0 L Colombo V12 engine to which considerable modifications had been made such as a wider bore spacing and an alternator replacing a generator.
Monaco Legend Group is elated to offer the oppurtunity to possess an exceptional example of a 1967 Ferrari 330 GT 2+2 II Series. Gorgeously tailored with a Ferrari Grigio Alloy paint combined with a lavish black leather interior. The dashboard decored with a lovely touch of wood supplemented by the fabulous three-spoke classic Ferrari steering wheel, distinguished by its refined mahogany handle and polished aluminium structure. Displaying on the odometer a decent 71,360 km the car just went through a full restoration. Now that it’s resplendent a new owner awaits her to continue its story together.
